ACT is transforming college and career readiness pathways with resources, assessments, and credentials that empower learners for education and workplace success. ACT will be collecting data for our National Curriculum Survey at NCTM. The ACT National Curriculum Survey is a unique nationwide survey, conducted every few years, of educational practices and college and career readiness expectations. ACT surveys thousands of K–12 teachers and college instructors in order to determine what skills and knowledge in ELA, mathematics, and science are currently being taught at each grade level and which skills and knowledge are currently considered essential for college and career readiness. The survey is a crucial step in ACT’s continuing validation of our assessments. ACT makes the results of each survey public so that ACT data can help education stakeholders make informed decisions about the skills needed for college and career readiness.
